How we're built

Stardom.IO is built very differently than most agencies.

After a year and half or running Stardom.io as a regular in-house agency, we changed model and became a distributed company.

Why? There were a few reasons, (I go into more details in this blog post) but I can point out 3 key points:

1. Talent is everywhere

Doesn’t matter where you live in the world, the best people for the job might not live around you.


2. Professional & cultural flexibility

When running fast pace growth experiments or when managing the content marketing division for companies from different industries, you need specialised talent suited for the task at hand in order to get the fastest and most efficient result. This gives you flexibility, in-house teams don’t have.


3. Top talent want freedom

In digital marketing & growth, most of the bigger talents don’t stay in-house for long.

They become consultants or open their own shop quite fast.

Working in this distributed model gives us the opportunity to collaborate with these talents on projects, giving our our clients the access to the minds and strategies of the top performers specializing in their niche.

Why I Built Stardom.IO

There are a lot of great performance agencies, digital marketing experts. SEO companies etc. So why did I feel the need to go and build another one?

Most of the agencies tend to work with a one-site fit all strategy.

They have their processes in place, and while creative sometimes might be different, it’s a template none the less.

One size fits all templates don't work when you try and grow a company. Same goes for "silver bullets".

It's about processes, doing deep-work, experimenting, breaking down silos and really getting to know the product and your audience's behaviour.

To do that, you have to look beyond you “division” metrics.
You have to see the big picture of what the product is about, the company goals and where your market is going.

To do that, you need to have an agency that can get behind one North Star Metric and align all its efforts in improving that one KPI.

SEO agencies or even digital and paid agencies, are usually built in a way that doesn’t think long term effect on product, but on more ‘local’ metrics.

We focus on the big picture.
